We spent 8 days at America's Keswick with Jeremy's family for Christmas. It was so good to see everybody and to be with Jeremy's grandmother. First off Keswick is beautiful and has so many fun things to do on the property. We did lots of visiting in between baking Norwegian goodies and getting Jeremy's Grandmother's house ready for Christmas. The Dickinson clan has grown a lot since the last time we were all together so it was crazy fun at times. Christmas Eve we had a big dinner with family and opened some presents. Christmas day started earlier with more presents (opening presents is so fun with kiddos!) and then off to church. I should mention that Keswick, among other things, is a rehabilitation from addiction center . The rest of our day was spent with men from this program. We went for a little hike, then a few of the guys joined us for chatting and desserts. I have been to Keswick before and am always amazed and what God is doing there and the legacy that Jeremy's family has there ( his great great grandfather founded), but I have never talked with the men before and heard the stories from their mouths. it was such an amazing privilege. My heart goes out to all of them and it so exciting to hear what God has done and is doing in their lives.

4 months
watching crazy Bailey play in the snow
on the computer with daddy
Another month gone. Chloe is still growing so much (you would think all that growing in such a short time would hurt) coming in at 13.13 lbs and 24.5 in tall. I am sure I'll say this again and again but so far this was my favorite age. You can see more of her personality and she "plays" back with you. Her newest thing she has learned to do is raspberries or motorboats (Jeremy and I can't agree on what it is called). She cracks herself up doing it. It is so much fun and I am sure it will continue.

giggles
Well we are all mostly better now! It seems like it has been a long recovery, I guess everything seems long when your sleep is interrupted, but there have been some really fun moments. Chloe has started to giggle more, it really is the cutest sound ever. She giggles when you tickle under her neck or arms and she loves little raspberries on her tummy or chubby cheeks. It is just so cool to see her interact more.

Thanksgiving
This is a little late, but I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We made the car trip down to New Mexico to spend it with my family. The car trip went great and Thanksgiving day was filled with good food and lots of family, 42 people to be exact. It was so fun for my whole family to meet Chloe and we got to celebrate my grandpa's 92nd birthday together. Our trip ended with a fussy and sleepless baby. We went to the doctor and Chloe has her first cold. I now realize how spoiled we are that we had a baby who was such a good sleeper. We are all recovering now and just trying to get ready for Christmas.

3 months
My how time goes fast!! My little girl is growing so much. Seems like every week her cheeks get bigger and she gets a new roll on her thigh, so cute. She weighs about 13 pounds now. She pretty much holds her head up now with no problem. When laying on her stomach she can lift her head 45 degrees. She is starting to grab at things and she loves to chew (gum?) everything she can get her hands on.

First flight
This past weekend we flew to Iowa to see Jeremy's brother, our sister-in-law, and our two adorable nieces. Chloe did pretty good on the flights. The way there was tense as I worried about nursing, her ears, and all of the other unknowns. There was crying and dirty looks from fellow passengers, but all in all it went o.k. The flight home couldn't have gone better. No crying, nursed at take off and descending, and a long nap. We were thanked and told what great parents we were at the end of this flight, as if we had anything to do with it. Our visit was so great with lots of catching up and much entertainment from of two little girls!
Kaelia was very sweet with "baby Chloe"

first road trip
My parents keep trying to come up and see Chloe and things just keep coming up to prevent them. The latest thing is that there dog, Chessey, has bone cancer. So they had to amputate her leg to get rid of the tumor. So we decided to drive down to New Mexico to see them. The car ride went pretty well with Chloe only adding about an extra 1 to our usual trip. It was a fast weekend but a good visit. We saw some family, ate like crazy (I think we had green chili at every meal), and Chloe had her first swim.
