Get out of Jury duty

So I am checking off one thing now. I guess I didn't realized what a busy month February was until I looked back at my lack of posting. My parents came to visit at the beginning of the month, then we all got a stomach virus that took us all down for a week, then we made a quick trip to NM for my great aunts 50th wedding anniversary party, and then we got a fun visit from Auntie Sarah and cousin Amos. A busy but fun month!

Now this jury duty thing. I am all about doing my civil duty but this is the third time I have been called in the 7 years I have lived here. Crazy. Jeremy has never been called. Hopefully they feel like making special exceptions for stay at home moms!

a silly post for a sad day

Today we had to put our sweet cat down. O.k. he wasn't that sweet and he was kind of crazy, but a part of our family none the less. I got Zellmer soon after I moved to Colorado, so we had been through a lot together. This emotional stuff is so much worse when you pregnant!

So to take our minds off of things here is a funny picture of Chloe. She is learning to dress herself, too bad it is with whatever article of clothing just happens to be on the top of the laundry basket.
