Yesterday was a big day. Chloe pulled herself up and stood up all on her own.

Then she practiced some crawling. almost.

Then a big kiss from daddy to celebrate. check out that face!

lesson learned

Don't leave the baby too close to the toilet paper roll while you are taking a shower.

8 months

whoops, with all the craziness lately i forgot about Chloe's 8 month old day. We are still working on crawling. Going backwards seems to be getting easier but she hasn't quite figured out how to go forward. No teeth yet. I can't believe since it seems like she has been teething for months. Eating continues to go well. It is hard to keep her little hands off food we are eating. Which has resulted in a lot of new tastes for her his month. Every day that goes by I see more and more of the big girl she is to become. It is quite fun!

Trip recap

We are back. We had a great visit with my family in New Mexico. It started out a bit rough with a cranky teething baby on a long 7 hour drive, it felt incredible long any how. We had a fun day at the zoo.

Then it was getting ready for Easter. Lots of cooking and cleaning since my mom was hosting the whole family at her house. We woke up to a white Easter but still made it to the sunrise service that Calvary Chapel does at the Lobo football stadium. It was a beautiful morning and there is just something about celebrating Jesus' Resurrection while watching the sun rise.
